Log
Printer Activity Monitor's distinctive feature is its special tool, the Log, which helps you generate miscellaneous filters in "real-time". The real-time mode is convenient for its means for creating multiple filters and thus watching just the information you need at the moment by combining a few criterias.
Information can be filtered by the following parameters:
- printer name which document was printed on;
- computer name which print task was sent from;
- user name who sent the document to printer;
- date the print job was created on.
Besides, there is capability for filtering by:
- document name;
- by paper sizes;
- by printing types (colour / monochrome);
- fields: "Pages printed", "Total pages", "Bytes printed", "Total bytes".
The program can manage the order of displaying records in the log (see Settings | General settings). Two orders of displaying are available:
- regular - records are displayed in the order that the print jobs were created;
- reverse - records on the last print jobs are displayed first.
