How to start?

To start using the program, you should configure your list of printers that you will monitor. To configure the printer list:

  • Read the following information: How the program works?
  • Start Printer Activity Monitor.
  • Open the "Settings..." dialog by pressing the F9 key.
  • On the "Printers" tab, select the printers you want to monitor.
  • Select an user account under which the PrinterMon Server service should be launched. Enter password for selected account.
  • Click OK.
Once a print job completes on one of the selected printers, you will be able to obtain all information on that job by generating a report or having filtered the log.

ATTENTION!
The program monitors only the printers that operate under Windows NT/2000/XP/2003. If printer operates under Windows 95/98 operating system, the database will have incomplete information on printed documents. Particularly, information on the number of printed pages will be absent.
