Kerio MailServer 6.x

Kerio MailServer 6.x is designed as a secure mail server accessible from anywhere. Here is a brief list of its main functions and features.

SMTP server
. This makes it possible to optimize connection costs (with dial-up lines).
Mail list server
Any number of email lists can be created within each local domain. List members can be defined by the server administrator, approved by a moderator or they can be added automatically through email. Each list can have one or more moderators who control user participation, message deliveries, etc. In Kerio MailServer, parameters for mailing list archiving can be set.
Active Directory support
Kerio MailServer 6.x provides full support for Microsoft Active Directory. It is not necessary to import user accounts into the internal database. To add or remove user account/group use the Active Directory system tool.
MS Entourage Support
Kerio MailServer 6.x provides support for Microsoft Entourage email client. It allows storing contacts, calendar and email folders in addition to accesssing the Free/Busy server in Kerio MailServer. Kerio MailServer communicates with MS Entourage via WebDAV protocol; that is why the HTTP service must be running on server.
Kerio Outlook Connector
Kerio Outlook Connector uses MAPI for communications between Kerio MailServer and MS Outlook. It enables storing of various folder types (such as email messages, contacts, calendars and tasks) at the server. It is also possible to share and map folders, as well as set up message sorting rules.
Account migration from MS Exchange to Kerio MailServer
Kerio MailServer 6.x provides for easy migration of user accounts from MS Exchange to Kerio MailServer.
