- Replace "DomainNameUserName" with "UserName"
- - if this flag is checked then the domain name will be removed from the user name during the importing process.
- Replace value of "cl-agent" field with "Browser"
- - if this flag is checked then the user's progrem agent name will be replaced with the "Browser" reserved word during the importing process.
- Import Log Files
- - here you should select the log files kinds to be imported.
- Web Proxy
- - if this checkbox is checked up, the program will import Web Proxy log files.
- Firewall
- - if this checkbox is checked up, the program will import Firewall log files.
- Skip HTTP/HTTPS traffic
- - if this checkbox is checked up, the program will ignore HTTP/HTTPS traffic during processing Firewall log files. It's recomended to enable this option for avoid traffic duplications.
- Packet Filter (Applicable for MS ISA 2000 only)
- - enable this checkbox if you want to process packet filter log files. Applicable for MS ISA 2000 only.
The "Anonymous" tab configures optional parameters that affect the log files importing process.
Username "Anonymous" - specifies how the program should treat the request from the "Anonymous" user.
The following cases are possible:
- Replace with "Anonymous"
- - no replacements will be made. The database will keep the "Anonymous" user.
- Replace with user's IP address
- - the user's IP address will be stored in the database instead.
- Replace with the last registered username accessed the Internet with the same IP address
- - the database will record the last user name accessed the Internet with the same IP address. IMPORTANT! It may occur that none of the users had accessed the Internet with the specified IP address. In such case, the database will keep the "Anonymous" user.
Local IP addresses - list the local IP addresses in order to properly separate the local and Internet traffic. You can specify address masks using the special characters '*' and '?': e.g. 192.168.0.* would mean any address ranging in 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.0.255.
On "Date Format" tab you may select the way, using which the program should determine log files date format.
Automatic recognition of date format - if this option selected, the program will try to automatically recognize your log files date format.
Manual adjustment - select this option if automatic date format recognition is fails during import process and you want to select date format and date separator symbol manually.
