  • Internet Access Monitor for ISA Server, Internet Access Monitor for MS Proxy: In the "Import Settings" a feature, which allows for the automatic addition of unknown protocols to the protocol list during the import process was added. The new protocol looks like "Unknown[Port Number]".

  • Internet Access Monitor for ISA Server: For ISA Server 2004, a feature allowing the generation of reports on Rule field values was added.
  • The program now checks if there is a second running copy of the program.

  • Users can now save the full URL, and not just the host name, to the database. Attention! If this feature is enabled, database size may increase and report generation may be slowed.

  • Users can now specify time along with the date field.
  • Users can now reassign values of some fields using the context menu in all programs in the Log. You can reset values for a certain record or for a set of selected records.
  • There are now two report styles: flat and hierarchical. When you use the hierarchical style, you can form complex analytical samplings.
  • Users can now perform quick searches of a selected host in the log.
  • Users can now change the sequence order for sections during main report generation.
  • Users can now add exception lists for data types, while host categories and color groups were added to the advanced settings. These allow the program to configure the algorithms of user distribution by categories, data types, etc. more precisely.
  • Internet Access Monitor for Novell Border Manager: support for a new log file format was added.
  • Users can now automatically convert visited hosts’ IP addresses to domain names during log file import.
  • Users can now set the number of characters in the fractional part of the traffic count.

  • Internet Access Monitor for ISA, for MS Proxy: Users can filter the log and generate reports by the source of the download (Upstream, Inet, Cache, etc.).

Changed/Improved
  • The dialog box where database tables are cleared was modified. Now you can delete all records imported from a certain log file. The previous algorithm was also modified: now if you delete all records imported from a certain log file, information about the log file itself will also be deleted. Therefore, multiple deletions from records and repeated imports of log files become possible. If not all records imported from a log file were deleted, imports from this file will not be performed again.
  • Report on sessions:
    1. the negative session duration error was fixed.
    2. a new “Number of queries” column was added.
    3. a summary line containing the sum total of session durations and the total number of queries has been added.
    4. the bug that caused session duration to be incorrectly displayed was fixed.
    5. now reports are formed much faster.
  • New templates were added to the list of available templates ($YYYY$, $MMMM$ etc) in the save location. See the documentation for more information.

  • Internet Access Monitor for UserGate: the problem with processing UserGate 3.õ log files was fixed.
  • The error that sometimes appeared when reports were sent by e-mail was fixed.
  • Internet Access Monitor for ISA Server: the problem with processing log files in W3C Extended Log Format was fixed; this bug made traffic increase considerably.
  • Internet Access Monitor for ISA Server: the bug that caused Cyrillic fonts in usernames to be displayed incorrectly was fixed.
  • Internet Access Monitor for WinGate: the incorrect traffic calculation bug was fixed.
  • Internet Access Monitor for ISA: the problems with determining the country in which a server is located during the processing of log files in MSDE format have been corrected.
  • Internet Access Monitor for ISA: fixed the bug that sometimes caused traffic direction to be incorrectly determined when log files of ISA 2004 were processed.
  • A number of minor bugs were fixed.
Removed
  • Internet Access Monitor for ISA, Internet Access Monitor for MS Proxy, Internet Access Monitor for WinProxy: The "Skip traffic received from cache" checkbox was removed from the data source settings; in the Exclusion Rules it was replaced with the "Download Sources" tab which allows you to input all sources that should be ignored during log file import. Attention! If you install the new version over your current installation, you must configure the "Download Sources" list before next import process. You need to add the following items in the list: NotModifed and *Cache*.

Upgrade instructions:

  • Due to the built-in autoupdate mechanism, installing the program over the current version will automatically convert the database into the new format, update user defined reports, report templates and so on. It is recommended that you copy the entire program directory before updating your version. In addition, every time log files are imported, it is highly recommended that you look through all the new import parameters and changes in the exception rules and make any necessary changes.
